Giampa has built an expertise in the hospitality (both on investment and asset management side) which was one of the business segments he specialized while covering a number of top management roles chiefly inside Aquileia Capital Services (Bain Capital Credit Group) and the Heta Asset Resolution Group. He was managing director of several real estate vehicles (ReoCos) including an OpCo operating hotels repurchased inside foreclosure auctions, or repossessed out of terminated financial lease agreements, with a strategy to ramp the hotels up and eventually to replace them into the market.

More recently, Giampa was the Head of Proprietary Operations and eventually the Head of Real Estate of Intrum Italy where he also served as managing director of Savoy ReoCo S.r.l..

Before switching to his managerial career, he was a corporate finance attorney (Shearman&Sterling and Freshfields) admitted both in the US (New York Bar) as well as Italy, and before that he worked inside the Tax Service of Ernst&Young .

Giampa graduated in law at the University of Rome La Sapienza and holds an LL.M (Corporate&Commercial) at the University of Chicago and another LL.M (Taxation) at the Queen Mary University of London.

He is currently an executive director of Coldwell Banker Commercial Italy, executive board member of Fingestioni SGR S.p.A., board member of Viride Group S.p.A. and Vice President of Cavese Calcio 1919 (a football team currently playing in the Italian third division). Swimming, chill-out music and dining out are his most favorite passions.
